"Against my better judgement, I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. After I tracked down a member of the staff to check me in.....which was irritating after a long day of travel, they were really nice. Stepping into my suite was like arriving to a 1991 fever dream. If I wasn't so exhausted, I would have never used the tub, but I'm glad I did....it was wonderful! Cleanliness was questionable, due to the antiquated decor. I couldn't tell if the sofa had been cleaned since being manufactured during the Nixon presidency, due to the barfy shade of peach. Staff was wonderful and so friendly! When I woke up, I had an urge to go to Blockbuster and return my VHS of Encino Man, but after the amazing continental breakfast I realized that I had already returned my video over 30 years ago, and I had just been confused by the lack of modern day design. Can't wait to never do it again!"

"We booked two rooms for our trip. Our rooms were booked by the host in separate buildings...far from each other. Both of the rooms we were given were not cleaned upon our arrival, which was well after the check in time. It took a while to get new rooms. I had to go out of my way to suggest that our rooms, which were booked together, were in the same building. The rooms were nice. I will say that I didn't feel very safe as a women staying on this property. There isn't much protecting you from strangers. The room doors have deadbolts but with no employees onsite I didn't feel as safe. The rooms were very clean and as expected. You can hear everything going on in the rooms above you. So, if you are a light sleeper this may not be your best option. It was nice having onsite parking in a secure garage. It would have been nicer if we were able to access the garage by one of the other doors closer to our assigned building, rather than having to navigate all the way back to the garage door itself. The garage door is closest to building 1-5...if you are staying the the other higher number buildings you will need to lug your luggage a long way. I'd stay here with a group. I would not stay here alone as a woman for safety reasons. You are better off at a hotel."
