Amazing experience at the hotel! Staff were very friendly and helpful, we felt safe in this hotel as they lock the door at night. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Feels like home to stay here. The location is not walkable to the train station but there are buses nearby that go straight to Venice. Overall, amazed by the hotel and the great value.

It’s a small hotel with a colonial style . It has everything you need for a short stay . It offers breakfast and public transportation is available few minutes from it. The public bus takes you directly to Venice. The staff were very friendly (Ramiro and Stephania) and very helpful when asking for directions and places to eat . They gave us the opportunity to buy the bus tickets at the hotel for Venice and when leaving to the train station .

Perfect boutique hotel!
Loved the stay here at Hotel Roma, the room was very clean and the breakfast was to die for (loved the fact they gave us a whole jug when we asked for latte) If you’re coming to Venice dont bother going to the island and stay a bit on the outskirts. The bust stop is 5 mins away and youre in Venice in 15mins. 100% would recommend, thanks a lot to the staff for making it an enjoyable stay!

Hotel Roma is a charming traditional hotel conveniently located for day trips into Venice. It was very clean and well kept. There isn't much in the surrounding area to do, but the hotel offer tickets for nearby transport options.

We had a lovely stay. The staff was really helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location wasn’t the greatest (not the best place to walk around), but we chose this place to save some money and it was worth it. We had an excellent meal at a local restaurant close by. We would recommend this place to people visiting Venice. It was an easy bus ride into Venice.

The property was close to public transportation and the receptionist "Robert" was great. He explained in detail how to travel to Venice by city bus and how to get around by city boat. The breakfast was great, boiled eggs, breads, yogurt, fruits, cereal, juice, coffee etc. There was also a laundry mat right across the street. That was great as we were on our 2nd week of travel. Local restaurant "il Giardinetto" and "Gigi" were casual and great as well as Marciano's pub. Overall, this was our favorite city and stay.

Basic hotel, and I would stay again
A 2-3 star hotel. Would I stay there again? Yes Simple basic accommodations, same for breakfast, it was always the same but they had nice fresh fruit. Do be aware that there are some city taxes that seem to not be included with the price listed on hotels.com but it's not that much. Easy to get into Venice by bus of which the stop is just around the corner

Worth going back on your next trip.
We stayed at the hotel several years ago and specifically looked it up to stay again on this trip. Very nice little hotel run by very friendly and helpful people. Easy access to Venice by bus so you don't have to try and drive. Plenty of places to eat in the area.

Clean room, great housekeeping, friendly and helpful staff, close to a nice supermarket and restaurants, a really good gelateria right up the street as well. Venezia is a 15-20 minute bus ride away. Only downside is no fridge in the room, but the staff let us store our food in their fridge downstairs.

Overall Grand but
Had a weekend away to Venice with my partner. Hotel Roma had good convenient transport links to the city, without having to pay the premium of staying in the city centre. The hotel was grand. Staff were helpful. There was a free breakfast available so that was good. The room was fine. There's not a lot to do around the hotel but we went into the city centre everyday anyway. One thing that we weren't happy with was there seemed to be a smell of cigarette smoke about the hotel and as non-smokers ourselves this seemed imposing and noticeable. Other than that I couldn't fault the place.

Good value for money
We only stayed for one night, and the hotel was exactly what we needed. The parking is a great added plus, and you can reach Venice by public transport easily. Breakfast was basic, but good enough to fuel up before a busy day.

Great stay!
A good choice if you are visiting Venice. Easy to get into Venice by bus. Watching all of the visitors to Venice having to roll or carry luggage to theiR Venice hotels made us doubly glad we stayed in Mestre where we had parking and only a few steps to the hotel. It is an older hotel but was clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff. We blew a tire on the street fronting the hotel on a Sunday evening. Early Monday morning the front desk clerk called someone to help us with the flat and by 9 am we had a new tire installed and were on our way to spend the day in Venice.

The people that own the place are nice and helpful. Breakfast is delicious every morning and the room, although a little old fashioned, was well kept and everything we needed.
