"Excellent location, close to shops, grocery, dining, and most importantly the Water Bus. While in a busy/loud corridor, closing the shutters and windows drowned out nearly all sound. We were only disappointed in the lack of coffee in the morning, but didn’t mind much as we could walk down the street to a cafe on the water. The “air conditioning” would not go below...

"Our stay at this bed and breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Paolo and his wife provided world-class service from beginning to end. They were incredibly attentive, kind, and helpful. They always answered my phone calls and texts quickly and took the time to answer every question I had. The room was perfect—beautifully decorated with a lovely European style, extremely clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. The breakfast was fantastic! There were so...

10. Casa Kirsch

Castello

"We’ve been to Venice many times but on this occasion we decided to stay at Casa Kirsch because we wanted somewhere close to St Marks Square. Firstly, my wife and I want to thank the amazing staff. We collected our room security code from the front desk of their sister hotel (Ca Dei Dogi), about 1 minute walk away. The gentleman there was very polite, helpful and professional. Every day our room was cleaned to a very high standard but the lady we saw in our building. A big thank you to her. Our...
