"Subject: Request for Partial Refund – Villa Le Fontanelle (October 7–10, 2026) I am requesting a partial refund for a three-night reservation at Villa Le Fontanelle in Florence, booked through Expedia. During our stay, we experienced serious shower problems, including a lack of hot water and interruptions to the water supply. The water did not resume promptly, making it impossible for the guests to shower properly. The guests reported the problems to hotel staff repeatedly throughout the...

"The lobby was clean and modern. The rest of the hotel could use a refresh. The furniture was cracking and looked like it had been around a little too long. There was also something that resembled mold in the corner of the shower"

"Me gustó el hotel, frente a la estación de transporte, el personal muy amable, el cuarto pequeño pero muy acogedor y limpio, la cama muy rica y tiene opciones de almohadas para los que sufrimos cuando no nos gustan."

"We booked 3 rooms. All were give mineral water on the first day only. Second and third day... no more water. We call front office, they give us on 2nd day. On the 3rd day - we called and they put us on hold for quite some time.... we hung up the phone. I am thinking - only mineral water... "

"Beautiful rooms. Helpful staff. Nice grounds and restaurant. Situated in suburban neighborhood with other options for dinner. 12 minutes by taxi from airport. Had to walk short distance from the parking to reception with heavy suitcases though, my only complaint. Otherwise, overall a 10. Would stay here again."

"The location was close to the airport but the unit had some wear and tear. For the price it was ok for one night. There was a fair amount of street noise early in the evening but that seemed to settle down after 10:30. It met our needs for an early morning flight."

"The building & room & staff are really special! I grumble because our shower / bath and the breakfast quality was not great. Also not a fault of the hotel specifically but the location proved really challenging with mosquitos - I was bitten badly at the hotel - so a general warning! But the place was lovely!"

"The room was very clean, the staff were all very nice and gave good recommendations for where to eat. The hotel is close to a tram stop which made getting to the city centre very easy. It was in a quieter neighborhood which was nice."

"Room was top notch and for breakfast to be thrown in with the price was excellent value for money, highly recommend"

"La ragazza dell'accoglienza è stata molto carina. L'appartamento al di sotto delle aspettative: situato al nono piano senza aria condizionata e con un piccolo ventilatore. Serranda rotta e con le alte temperature non lo consiglio. Prezzo troppo alto. La posizione comoda per raggiungere l'ippodromo e 20 minuti dal centro. Non ci tornerei."

"The place was cute enough inside but it was dirty and unkept. The location was farther from the City Center than expected. The neighborhood was a bit rough."
