No hotel on the square will have a.c, thought, and the room does have a fan to help, so it is manageable."

"I stayed at this hotel during the Montreux Jazz Festival so the price I paid was extremely high, though this is only to be expected. The room was very large, the bed was comfortable and the room was nicely arranged. On the negative side, this was no air conditioning, which I was expecting for the large sum I paid. "Our 2nd time of staying at Hotel Lavaux and for the 2nd time everything was pretty much perfect. Nice welcome upon our arrival, great room on 3rd floor equipped with everything we could possibly think of. Amazing view from the room and this bettered only by the balcony of which we spend much time. Bed was mega comfortable and bathroom felt luxurious. Restaurant was great and the food waiter was always pleased to see us and help with any requests we made. Food was delicious"

"Lovely hotel, beautiful view from the balcony over the lake. Must be one of the nicest positions in the vineyards in Chexbres area. Room was fine size, nice en suite. Comfortable beds. No Aircon or fridge which would have been nice in the heatwave. Would definitely go again."

"First of all, be aware that this hotel does not have air conditioning. Europe is experiencing unprecedented heat, so it is important to verify that AC is available. I indeed thought it was, only to be informed at arrival that "only some rooms are". The property itself is ok, amenities are few, reception closes at 6pm. Young, inexperienced staff. We stayed in the superior double" which was stifling and had no view. There are apparently some much better rooms in the hotel if one specifies...
