"Bula Spirt was nowhere to be seen. Owner clearly is sucking the place dry and not a cent spent on up keep. Food was really basic, trouble with over croweded boats and staff are very unhappy. Do yourself a favour and avoid. Very unpleasant stay, such a shame"

My sense is that it’s used by Chinese tour groups, so when a solo American showed up, they seemed a little confused.
