Hotel Murah di Waimanalo Beach

"The hotel was located in a neighborhood where there was homeless people sleeping on the street. So the shops nearby were not good and the shops that were there could early due to the crime. However if you walked a couple of blocks down you would find a nice area full of beautiful buildings mostly businesses like banks but not too many shops and restaurants. "

"We stayed overnight near airport for an international flight out. Epic Honolulu rainstorm likely colored our experience. Free shuttle from airport was nice. Staff pleasant. Rooms a bit dated and the heavy winds/rain entered our sliding windows, soaking the nearby carpet. Gym modest but nice. Complimentary breakfast average. "We feel right at home at the Royal Hawaiian. We will not stay anywhere else. The hospitality and kindness of the staff are beyond perfect. Many of the staff have worked there for many many years and we enjoy seeing them every time we go. They obviously must treat the employees as well as they do the patrons!"

"Lobby was mostly taken up by valet which was very expensive and no self park option. No comfortable lounge type area. Stayed on 19th floor of Aloha Tower overlooking Waikiki beach walk plaza. Good view of the historic pink palace. Microwave, mini fridge, bar sink but no dishware. Ample furniture and lighting. Would like if they provided coat hooks on the wall somewhere. 2 elevators was not enough, had to wait because they were often full. Hot tub was out of order. Pool was monopolized by kids....

"I’m not sure if this is the norm now but the room did not have a microwave oven. The tub floor did not have any “grip” to it so it became slippery when taking a shower. Although we were informed that the room only gets cleaned every other day, it did not, until we asked for it on the 3rd day. Ice machines were located on every even floor, and water fill stations were on the 1st & 3rd floors. "This is a special place, and I really enjoyed my stay here. The morning yoga classes on the floating dock were exceptional. Just be aware it is a 3-star resort, so don't expect the units to be in top condition. Cleanliness could be better (corners, top of the fridge), though overall acceptable (linens and towels were clean). Overall a very peaceful spot with amenities to offer and friendly staff. Oh, and the daily banana bread was delicious (and vegan, which was a pleasant surprise)."
