"Helpful staff, good Wi-Fi. That's the positives out of the way. You actually have to park across the road in the job centre car park. My room had a raging hot radiator with no controls in May. "The room was clean and functional. Plenty of parking. The receptionist who checked me in was miserable and didn’t make me feel welcome. Pretty sure I was the only one staying there. The hotel is very tired in most respects. It’s quite isolated also so you need a car to get anywhere. My room was located very close to the A19 so a lot of road traffic noise."

"Had a two night stay in Room 1. Staff all friendly and helpful. WiFi was on the blink.so not available on our room. They said they needed to fix it. Room was spacious. Lovely bathroom but lighting in both room and bathroom could be brighter. Water hot but found controls on shower difficult to adjust. Tea making facilities all good but I brought my own herbal tea - only standard tea available. Small bottle of still and sparkling water provided."

"Great room. Plenty of space. All necessary items in room. Staff downstairs were very helpful whenever asked. Breakfast was a massive choice of items and staff couldn't do enough. The coffee was great! Perfect for our stay. Have stayed there before and will stay again."

"Basic but clean and comfortable, decent value for the price. Each apartment is 2-bed so kitchen and bathroom are only shared with one other guest room. Was upgraded from single to a double for no extra charge. The people upstairs were up all night but that could happen anywhere."
