"The people that work at this property are the friendliest and hardest working staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. I was feeling a little unsafe at an AirBnB I was renting in a nearby city so I called this place at nighttime and they found me and my dog a room. I pulled into the parking lot and there were bright lights everywhere and the parking lot was full. As a single woman traveling by myself with my dog it could not have been more welcoming. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were amazing. I would recommend this place over and over again if you are heading to the Puget Sound area. Excellency breakfast options (the cheesy egg bites and coffee were great). Thank you Ocean Star in and please keep doing what you are doing!"

"Location is gorgeous, we stayed in the King Oceanfront cabin and it was lovely. A couple of things to consider. There is no TV or internet in the room. Internet is available near the lobby outside by the fire pits. If you’re busy and active, you won’t miss it, but if you’ve got kids or sports fanatics, be forewarned. We were too tired to be bothered missing it."
