"The property was convenient to tube and rail facilities, and there were several good restaurants in the area. The property was also very cleaned and well maintained. The staff was also courteous and very friendly. We did run into one issue in that the air conditioner only cooled the room down to an estimated 79-80 degrees. "We stayed in room 922, while a lovely spacious quiet room, there were a few issues. Green flashing light above bed, which goes off all through the night. Asked reception 3 times to sort, eventually they covered this. The access door to the room, whenever opened it made a air sooking noise that we could hear - staff/guests opened this door for no reason. It would be good if a sign was on saying no access etc. We had to ask for the tea/coffee/milk to be replenished as it was not done so...

and not comfortable nor set up for a comfortable stay. We are used to small accommodations in London, but this room was not livable for any length of stay.

"The hotel was walking distance from the underground and one stop to the O2 arena if you are watching concert. It is nearby to some restaurant and shopping stores underground.

"The Rubens is a fantastic hotel. We only stayed one night, but will definitely stay there upon return to London. The location cannot be beat, only a block or two from Buckingham Palace. The staff absolutely could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They really were fantastic!!
The room was comfortable. We had a view of the Royal Mews. Breakfast was amazing. I really cannot say enough nice things about the hotel. Highly recommend!"
