Was put in a room on level 2 which shakes and is extremely loud from the train line directly below. Did not get any sleep - the hotel hasn’t been updated since our last stay in 2021 & woke up to a gap in our roof"

"Loved this hotel. The mini bar was the best stocked and most reasonably priced compared to anywhere I've ever stayed. Local produce, French champagne and it was priced the same as if you bought directly. The staff were friendly, professional and considerate. The view was stunning and the room décor was classically finished. Loved the location, energy of the hotel and it was very clean!"

Fittings, furnishings etc very jaded with woodwork and decor in need of substantial repair - I guess it's what makes it affordable. Thought I'd enjoy a bath in the elegant tub, but the water ran brown with rust - clearly no-one had ever used it, or checked it in recent times. "The hotel staff said in check in that breakfast was included. However when we went for breakfast they said it wasn’t and we had to scurry to find and eat breakfast before our taxi to the airport. Very frustrating"
