"Breakfast selection was standard for a HI express. Unfortunately in this hotels case, all of the bread, and especially the bread rolls were too stale to have eaten. Eating in the restaurant in the evening was a very slow process. Over 45 minutes to receive any food. Some people waited over an hour. Room was not particularly clean, debris on the carpet, and a general feeling of rushed housekeeping. Found a child’s teddy bear under the bed, and the staff couldn’t have seemed less bothered. Air conditioning in the room didn’t work, and both bedside lights were so poor that candles would have been a better option. "

The staff had so very kindly surprised us with a birthday banner and balloons which absolutely made his day and added that special touch. "You pay for basic you get basic, that’s not a bad thing though. The hotel is clean and warm the staff are friendly and helpful, parking is easy and on site. Great view and easy to get too. I would stay here again."
