"The room itself was great, the housekeeping was great, and the location is great. The elevator system is awful. Each time we tried to go up to our room (floor 11) we had to wait 10-15 minutes for an elevator and it was pure chaos in the lobby while waiting. We attempted to ask a staff member where the stairs are and got pushback twice before they gave us the WRONG directions to the stairs. He said “you can’t go up that many stairs with all your stuff” and walked away. Then we asked again and he still was questioning our decision, and the way he told us to go was a locked area and a kitchen so we couldn’t even use the stairs. The front desk person also was not that helpful, he didn’t tell us how much we had to pay upon arrival or the holds they would be putting on the account. One came thru in the middle of the night and we thought it was our card getting hacked or something since no one told us there was a $300 hold until we asked. Other than that, once we were in the room itself things were fine, just not ideal for trying to go in and out quickly, it’s quite the process to get up to your stuff. Would’ve been good to know, especially from a medical stand point, probably wouldn’t have booked there if we knew that’s how it was going to be. If a diabetic has insulin in the room or if their sugar was low, it would’ve been pretty unsafe of a wait time for example. "
