"We loved this hotel! Very classy and cute and loved the neighborhood! Rooms are awesome (king Broadway view room) and the bar is really cute and French bakery was a huge bonus! Subway is one short block away and there are lots great little restaurant's nearby. Zabars salmon cream cheese bagel is a must! Loved parperdellas Italian too. You will love staying here away from the touristy areas but only a subway ride away!"

"No coffee in the room!! The hotel desperately needs an update. Its age really shows. It’s just not worth the prices they charge. "I really didn’t use the extra “amenities” I was charged for with the exception of the WiFi which was to typically cutting out in the evening, I think a lot of these charges should be optional for guests as I did not have use for them. The room was typically small for a NY hotel but comfortable. There was a private event while I was there so rooftop was closed to guests. Hallways were full of housekeeping supplies. Area was safe. On site bodega was insanely overpriced. I wouldn’t stay here...

"Room was clean, comfortable bed, pillows. Some of the walls in the bathroom were uneven. The door in the shower was loose and difficult to open you had to push hard. But over all very clean. In my first stay the drain in the shower was clogged. I waited till the next day texted the front desk, stated what happened and asked for a complimentary upgrade, and got a text immediately and was upgraded to a room with a terrace, too bad it was raining I was not able to enjoy it. Parking was an added cost, and if you park your car at the closest garage, which is about a block away, you will not have access to it for 24 hours. "I spent one night with my 9yo son and highly recommend this property. It’s in the financial district just a few minutes walking from the Fulton St. subway station (various lines).
I am still dreaming about that bed!! It was a king and sooo comfortable and wonderful to sleep in.
I didnt get to use the espresso machine but it looked like the real deal.
Staff were friendly and helpful from the bellhops to front desk.
