"Everything was lovely, especially the staff! In the middle of a heatwave, AC would have been nice but that’s Mother Natures fault. Food was excellent, parking was easy and the surroundings were beautiful! I definitely recommend for a taste of old world charm."

"The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful."

"All the staff that we came in contact with, reception, bar and restaurant were really nice and couldn't have been more helpful with a special mention for Vincent in reception who made us feel really welcome. Also the young lady who greeted us at breakfast was lovely and nothing was to much trouble but unfortunately we didn't get her name. We usually stay here two or three times a year and look forward to continuing our breaks away with you."

"The room was clean and the balcony to the back overlooking a stream and greenery was beautiful. I just thought it was a tad overpriced at £91 without breakfast or dinner included. That said - it's not too far from the town centre (5 - 10 minute walk), nor the train station (15 min walk or so). The free parking is useful; however, it's one of those horrible put-your-number-plate in.
