"Stay at this hotel. It felt like our home away from home in Edinburgh. Rianne (I think that’s how her name is spelled) and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating, which makes a big difference when you’re traveling in a foreign country. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was the best we had at any hotel in Scotland, the location was excellent - central to everything but still pretty quiet for a good night’s rest. Also, we always saw the housekeeping team working very hard to keep the hotel...

"I'd really recommend Distiller's House, our apartment was immaculately clean & very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped & the tea & coffee sachets etc were a nice touch, as was the coffee maker.
All communication was done via WhatsApp which was handy & straightforward.
Distiller's House is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, but is so convenient for Haymarket train station & the West End tram stop. There's a few nice pubs very close by & a fabulous Italian restaurant about a two minute...

"Beautiful hotel, nice size rooms, staff was amazing, great location, next to bus stations and about a 15-20min walk (if you don’t want to take the bus) to main tourist locations. Restaurants extremely close, safe and clean area, would 100% stay here again when I come back to Edinburgh!"

"This property is in a nice quiet area, but not too far from anywhere.
The apartment is very welcoming, and perfect for a large family or group of friends.
I'm not sure if it was mentioned the main room has an ensuite, so ample facilities.
Only minor negative is they key lockbox was right on the floor. Anyone not flexible may suffer a bit. "

"Across the road from Haymarket, decent bar adjoining hotel.
Room quite small but fine for a couple of nights or so.
Only problem was seal on window wasnt great so could hear qind whistling and traffic noise. Black out blind also had a tear which let in light too early.
Decent value though."

"This property was in a fantastic area! We really enjoyed the neighborhood and all that it had to offer. It was an easy location to get to other things we wanted to see in Edinburgh. Train and buses were easy to get to but we found it just as easy to walk everywhere. The beach was a short cab ride away and fantastic. Be aware however, this property does not have a lift. We were on the top floor and had to carry our heavy bags up many flights of stairs. The room was comfortable. We all hated...

"We had booked 3 x 2 bed appartments, however one of the "2 bedroom" appartments had an additional room with bunk beds. I wish we had been told that as I would have just booked 2 appartments
2 of the appartments were basement level. The stairs off the main street would not be suitable for anyone with a slight hesitation for stairs. The other was 4th floor, so again, we had to pick which couple could manage those stairs.
Beautifully furnished and both basement appartments had patio/garden areas...
