"Location of the property is probably the biggest asset of this hotel, walking distance to a variety of restaurants and to Stanley Park with beautiful sceneries and great walking paths. We have to carry our bags up some steps, not much facilities here like a ramp. Bedroom was very spacious and clean, bathroom was Ok. We have no use for the kitchen but is good that was there. I don’t know about parking. Overall, this is nice place to stay for few nights. Happy we did."

"One of the most affordable options in West Van, close to everything we needed by foot. Free parking (not underground FYI).
Obviously the property is old and the interior is dated, but it’s clean and suitable for a night or two.
If the mattresses could be updated it would elevate the whole experience and the decor would become humble and retro, almost endearing. Instead it just feels like zero upgrades have been made since the late 1950’s, including the mattresses lol

"The location was terrific and the staff was very nice the 24 hrs we were there. There were 2 notable things: the fitness room was not well equipped(no yoga mats, small room, few machines) and our AC was not working. When we reported that to the front desk when we returned from dinner- the front desk associate told us they no longer had a maintenance crew and that he would be up to reset it. He did, in fact, come up to reset it, but that was not effective. So we were uncomfortable all night....

"The 24/7 gym is a private gym. But you can’t use it 24/7. I wanted to use it at 6am and I asked the staff the night before and they said it’s not possible. So it’s a flawed advertising.
The rooms are hot in the summer, but they have portable AC units unfortunately the unit is right next to your head as you sleep and it’s like having a jet engine next to you. So you have to choose between hot or noise"
