"I did not utilize the breakfast, so I am not sure how that was. The room (lamps, tables, coffee pot, etc) were not cleaned in a very long time. They were covered in dust and had rings/sticky substances on them. The bed was very uncomfortable, in a too springy/sink when you sit type of way. When the room was "cleaned" during my stay, the housekeepers took all of the towels (including my personal towels) but did not leave any additional towels for me to use during my stay - luckily, I brought an extra towel to dry off with. They also did not replace the trash bags when they took out the trash, luckily, I had my own walmart bags for trash, so I used them instead. The a/c was either super cold or hot. I couldn't get the room quite comfortable temperature wise due to the Eco setting on the air conditioner. The pool was open but it was too cold to use. Not far from Lackland AFB, but traffic can make it take a lot longer to get on base, so I would recommend a closer hotel if you are going on base. While the neighborhood was a little sketchy looking (graffiti and a few homeless people), the property was very well lit. It wasn't a bad experience, more like inconvenient, but it could have been a little better. The staff I personally encountered (front desk) were friendly. "

"We had a great 3 nights of vacation at this property. My 5yr old daughter had a blast enjoying the lazy river and the warm pool, and so did I! It was great to have the pool set in a natural setting under trees, etc - beautiful experience. The lagoon was great too. I liked that they put together so many activities, especially for kids, and shared an itinerary of events for the whole week - it made it so much easier for us to plan our days. The room itself was very comfortable…we enjoyed the balcony with views of the greenery around. We had a wonderful lunch at the Springhouse Cafe one of the days. Since we were vegetarians we didn’t bother much with the other restaurants. But within 10-15 mins driving distance there were a few good options. I loved that all the staff badges show where they were from. I thought that was a great touch and allowed for warm conversations and made the interactions personable! Overall, it is an excellent property. It is a no-brainer to stay here especially if you have kids. We would gladly recommend this to anyone, amd would love to come back here!"
