Hotel Murah di Westruther

"Check in was chaotic and our evening meal booking was lost! This meant a late evening dining time. When I got to my room it was obvious the bathroom had not been cleaned (see photo of Bath plug) This was disgusting and reported to reception but it took another day before resolution. No offer was made to change room or compensation. I have since left messages with manager to try to discuss this issue but had no response which is extremely disappointing and very unprofessional. I would not come...

"I was in Rm 4, a small twin with ensuite. The window opened (hood) but unfortunately, right onto the alley where the cooking fan vented. It was quite loud but did stop before bedtime. Breakfast was surprisingly included and very tasty. Did not have dinner as there was nothing small that I wanted to eat. I was later told by a customer that you could order half portions of the main menu items. I didn’t realize this and would have done so. Good drafts on tap, staff were friendly but the room...

"Unusable internet I had to check out early because I couldn’t get any work done"

"We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future."

"Clean, good location, pleasant staff and overall a good stay. I am happy to recommend this hotel for a stay."

"What a perfect place to stay. We stayed in one of the two bedroom cottages which was perfect. I could not say a negative thing about the cottage. We only stayed for 2 nights while visiting near bye family. But we will be back for a proper break"

"Very friendly host with lots of useful local info. Top quality delicious breakfast, comfortable bed."

"Lovely stay- very comfortable and old fashioned hotel."

"Lovely clean property, slept 5 people, very warm and cosy in a lovely quiet location on a working farm. Had everything we needed and more, owner was very helpful and generous. Great lication for waljs and visiting surrounding areas within short distances to travel."

"The rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet. Our group of 4 had excellent service and a great breakfast. We only stayed one night and wish we could have be there multiple days. The location was very convenient to explore Dunbar by foot. Would highly recommend this hotel to others."

"This accommodation is very well located in the Kelso town square and within easy walking distance to pubs, cafes and restaurants. The bakery to the left of the front door is outstanding for home cooked morning rolls and beautiful cakes. Apartment 1 is spacious, clean and has everything you need despite the furnishings being a bit dated. Note this accommodation may not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to the stairs to all rooms. This is a great base for trips to Lindisfarne,Bamburgh...

"Very nice staff good location"

"Staff wonderful and great breakfast included. Wireless was spotty. Kitchen odors /noise was in my room- but I had the least expensive single in the back of a dark hallway. Bed comfy!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. Nice location, easy to find nice places to eat. Close to Edinburgh (we were there for daughters Uni tour) Will definitely return as we liked the area and close proximity to the A1"
