"Location was ideal for me as i needed to stay near family. Although there is nothing near by apart from Starbucks, Costa, KFC 10 mins away. The rooms were ok, bedding was clean Although underneath the beds was not. I found not nice things in there, like chewing gum, cigarette papers, French fries. I only used the rooms to sleep and shower. The main issue for me was the window latches were missing or very loose and i did not feel safe while sleeping. The windows are not double glazed. "+ polite staff, lovely quirky hotel, - room cold, unable to regulate heat quick staff response by putting heater in room. Noise levels unacceptable from beer keller two doors away playing loud muic until 2am. Rang desk at 1.30am who informed me they don't usually stay open that late but their opening hrs state otherwise. Kitchen extractor woke us at 7am that same morning. Windows not double glazed. Awful nights sleep."

" The property was advertised as offering free parking. At check-in, we were asked to provide our car registration number for the duration of our stay, which we did in good faith. However, a week later we received a parking fine for using the hotel car park. "Breakfast was not good. Only 2 pieces of bacon left and 1 hash brown. Also was never told they charge you an extra £20 for checking in before 3pm. Luckily the receptionist did have a room ready so gave it to me without charging. This is something to look out for."

"Room was very warm in the attic. Windows didn't open We had to wedge the door open to get air from the corridor. Bathroom not very clean, needs regrouting. Towels were nice, thick and soft. Breakfast was lovely. Staff in restaurant and bar friendly."
