"Small B&B which is in a quiet area, but just of main routes so easy to find. There is sufficient off-street parking for guests which is a plus. Breakfast offers a good choice for all tastes and the breakfast room, at the side of the property affords sea views which adds to the pleasant feel of what is obviously a well run B&B. "The room was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed, bathroom was also spotless and again had everything needed
The staff are friendly and made us feel welcomed from arrival. The only thing that could be made better would be an addition of a full drench shower because there was certainly room for one"

"Enjoyed our stay at the Royal, friendly staff, and the room was very good, a little tired in places but nothing to detract from the overall quality of the hotel. Good breakfast choice, although a bigger plate would be nice, a side plate not an ideal size for a full English breakfast. Great sea view from out room and the hotel is in a prime spot to vist all that Whitby as to offer. "
