Was able to park easily outside, great communication from Emma via text on check in, which was very informative and made it easy, lovely room with plenty of tea and coffee available, along with complementary milk and couple of bottles of water, whole place was clean and spotless. It's a short walk into town, our favourite was walking down by the beach which is just a minute from the property. Overall lovely stay will definitely book again in future :)

Beautiful room, just been charged £75 for damages?.And also accused of being a cannabis user by the owner.I did get a little hair dye on the wall by the sink,but the pictures I have seen do not Equate to £75 worth of damage and then the accusation of the room being unfit for the next couple is ridiculous

Whalebone Arch Guest House

Great Communication from Emma & Dave. Emailed us the day before our stay to ask what time we be arriving so our room was prepared for us. And what a lovely surprise when we arrived. Room 7 was fantastic with a large bay window. We were left a parking permit and parked right outside the property. The Bathroom was very spacious with a lovely power shower. The Room was spotlessly clean. We have stayed in many guest houses in Whitby and we both agreed this was one of the best. Well done Emma & Dave

Lovely place to stay

The Whalebone Arch was clean and comfortable, with seaviews from some rooms ,the only contact with the owners was by text, it was informative and the instructions easy to follow.Thank you Emma . The hotel is situated just outside of Whitby town centre , its walkable, but there are buses if needed, or taxis which are approximately £5 each way . We enjoyed our stay there . Car parking is a good plus too

Amazing stay everything provided, very comfortable and spotlessly clean Nice sea view from room 2. Parking not an issue at all, able to park right outside the front door for the whole of the stay.

Convenient location.

Lovely stay here, a nice distance away as you can park easily. Clean and the bed was comfortable. No issues.

I liked that a lot of thought was put into the additions to the room and helpful folder . I was worried that I'd be woke up by seagulls or other guests but definitely no thin walls here . Nice to be able to walk to see the beach in less than a minute and Long King restaurant if you're hungry . We found being close to a bus stop very handy too . A great place to stay .

The best place I have been to in UK

This is the best place that ever stay not only in England but UK. Clean, qyeut and everything in good condition. Close to coast and 13 min walk or you can catch bus (bus stop 1 min away) to centre. Small fridge was provided which helps if you want to keep some fruits or jogurt. Everything thing worked perfectly. Shower, TV, kettle. Found nice book with all informations that I needed for my stay but also few recommended restaurants and places to see. Highly recommend to stay. Thank you.
