The road to the property is rough and stoney ,Steep metal steps up to apartment , not good with luggage ,Cramped mezanine bedroom with 1 bannister rail missing ,no fire exit instructions ,bathroom has a sloping ceiling and was not good for a tall person. View from kitchen window of old tyre'sand a sink thrown in the I am not sure how this passed any fire and building control regs .Would not return and was not worth the price

This property is awful run down and dirty we booked a three night stay and couldn’t even manage a night we went home holiday ruined

Dirty but quaint

The sad situation here is that the owner did try. The story was that the owner was ill and had used an independent cleaner. The place was shockingly dirty, cobwebs, dust, old food in the fridge/freezer. The oven was dirty, the pots pans etc were oily. Even after the owner came to clean after I complained were were unable for example to cook breakfast a single time in 4 mornings due to the pan being unable to be used. The only way I could cook was using ready meals with foil over the oven tray. The venue is quaint with the station at the back, trains passing your windows.

Quiet village ideal for train enthusiasts

Right next to train line, quiet sucluded cottage down the drive from the main house. Good, clean self catering accommodation. Ideal as a base for the train line or exploring the area.

Quirky cottage, next to the railway station. Clean and comfortable if a little dated. Bed could have been more comfortable and bed side lighting was a bit dim for my old eyes!! But overall it was in a splendid location and we would certainly consider booking again.

Nice, spacious stables conviction. Excellent location next to the railway station. Very comfortable bed. A bathroom and a kitchen are a bit dated. It was noisy in the mornings as a young gentlemen (perhaps a gardener) was undertaking some work in the garden. Otherwise it was very peaceful.
