"wanted $100 deposit which I think was a little weird for a room that definitely looks better in the pictures than a dozen person"

"Didn't care for the fact that we had to pay $22 for parking each day. I never saw it on the website, even though I had to check after we HAD to pay. Guests should have a voucher or something to put on the dashboard or something and have free parking. We choose the Hotel besides the LOOKS of it online and etc but the MAIN reason was NO PETS. We are both allergic to dogs. On our last day at the Hotel a DOG was crying and barking for 20 minutes at 7 a.m. on our floor. Said something when we checked out and the employee said they changed their policy 2 weeks ago and now accepts pets."

"I very much enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach. The front desk staff was amazing and attentative. The hotel was clean in all the locations I visited. I did not use the pool or hot tub, but as I walked past it to go to the beach the appearance was clean and clear. I could see from my room that there was an attendent cleaning the area around the pool frequently. The included breakfast was warm and the omelettes/protein/potatos were different on both days I stayed. The waffle station was clean and there was a large selection of toppings. My room was clean. Bathroom was updated with a tub and a walk in shower. Had a functioning blow dryer, iron and ironing board all of which I did use. The TV had a great picture, the fridge kept my items cold however there was not a microwave. But there was one in the breakfast area. The bedding was clean and crisp, the bed was comfortable as were the 4 pillows on the bed. Great location to the beach, the pier and a bit of shopping and restaurants."

"The room was clean, but not enough towels or toilet paper. The one time I depended on a hotel for their shampoo/conditioner/body wash that’s usually provided, there was no conditioner when I needed it. The kitchen had utensils, which was nice, for the ice cream treat we picked up, though. One major complaint, is that we had to park our lifted truck ourselves, but were still charged a valet fee, which is complete nonsense."
