The reception is away from the hustle and bustle of the bar/ restaurant which was good. The room was big enough, but the beds are really small. My husband had to go and ask for another room (on his own) as the double was bearly wide enough for both of us, let alone long enough. … so if you are over 5’8 you will struggle. "Room very basic, tired, dated. Smelt like strong bleach. Furniture scuffed. No wardrobe or drawers for clothes. Shower was hot and powerful though"

"I had room 233.. sadly the road outside is busy all through the night. I can normally sleep through anything but sadly not this. Eventually got to sleep at 3.30am after trying ideas to block out noise. Shame really as the hotel and staff are lovely."
