"Our room was spacious, comfortble and clean. The breakfasts were very tasty and substantial. We ate dinner in the restaurant where the food was delicious with generous portions. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend and would happily stay there again."

"Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!"

Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. The young bar staff were also very kind and welcoming. "

"Es war unbeschreiblich toll. Die Lage ist super, man läuft nur über die Straße und ist schon am Strand. Auch der Fußweg in die Stadt und zu Sehenswürdigkeiten ist kurz. Aber die Gastgeber sind mit ihrer Herzlichkeit nicht zu übertreffen und man fühlt sich sehr willkommen und mir ist es wirklich sehr schwer gefallen wieder abreisen zu müssen. Absolut empfehlenswert!"

"We used this a base for the beachyhead marathon. Was perfect for our needs. No lift though so expect to be tackling multiple flights of stairs through the labyrinthine property. It was very reasonably priced for location. Though that does translate to the amenities, but if you are looking for a short stay budget option with a bar open 24 hours for guests and 24 acess to pizza, its a great shout and will save you a few quid. Its about 5 or 10 minutes from some excellent local pubs....
