"A bit of a strange hotel - felt a bit like a nursing home in parts. Staff seemed to not know what they were doing. Lovely shower and bed linens though, and good location."

"The room is very clean, has everything you need within it (an iron and ironing board), and nice Penhaligons products with comfortable bed! The hotel is massive, and a bit of a maze. When we arrived, the reception give you a map, the map has different name of room and numbers to what is on the wall, so was a little confusing but the woman on reception was happy to walk with and help guide us the right way. We only stayed for the 1 night, did not use any facilities so cannot comment on anything else other than the room."

"It is a lovely pub with cosy rooms. The staff was lovely and the food delicious. If there is one thing that could be better is addition of protein to vegetarian options through natural whole food sources. For example, tofu, chickpeas, lentils and beans."

"The room albeit very small was really clean and suited out one night stay. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was brilliant and to top it all there was free parking. All in all an excellent stay - thank you."
