"The property was dirty. The elevator floors looked like they have never been cleaned The elevator lobby on our floor smelled like garbage all weekend. The floor in our room was sticky.
There was no breakfast
The property was being used for homeless housing

"The place I usually stay (Fairfield by Marriott) was sold out, so I picked this one (ESA) as a back up for one night, bc it was close by.
Massive contrast with Fairfield: even though ESA was more expensive, the room was not nearly as nice or as well maintained: (door handle had been jarred loose, and did not feel secure); vinyl instead of carpet on the floor - just generally had more of a cheapo vibe.

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The facilities were comfortable, clean, and well maintained, making for a relaxing experience. What stood out the most was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, who were always welcoming and willing to help.
The hotel's location is also very enjoyable. If you like walking, running, or simply spending time outdoors, the nearby riverwalk provides a relaxing and scenic environment for exercise and leisure. Overall, I truly have no complaints...
