"The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. "Very nice modern hotel. Nicely decorated. Hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the historic city centre in a quiet residential area. Has restaurant, bar and a good cafe. Room was very nice Good size, loads of storage space, very good overhead shower. Good size fridge. Leisure facilities include a long but narrow swimming pool with spa jets along one side, steam room and sauna (currently being refurbished so not in use). Very good breakfast buffet plus you can order hot dishes such as...

"Perhaps the best place i have ever stayed at, relatively clean, very cosy, and conveniently within walking/ bus distance from Cambridge. What i would have liked to be different: -parking is 5 pounds/ day, which may not seem much, but there was no mention other than 'available on the premises'. -heating was centrally managed- at times too hot and others almost too cold. "Our room was very comfortable (especially the bed/mattress) and furnished to a good standard. Nice modern en suite facilities. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful and the location was adjacent to many bars and restaurants and only a 6-7 minute walk from the town centre. Only downside was the expensive local car parking (£22.50 overnight - significantly more than we have experienced elsewhere) with no discount from the hotel"
