"Staff at the hotel were warm and friendly. They couldn’t have done more to make us and our 2 dogs feel welcome. Breakfast was great. Food very fresh and plenty of choices. The hotel location is perfect and within easy reach of everything that Lynmouth and Lynton has to offer. We will definitely be returning. "

"Nice place overall - clean and well kept. Owners are nice and friendly. The bad part is the sleep situation. For the room we had, there was a very bright security light from the neighbouring property up the hill, and the light shone onto the thin curtains of our room, and when the tree branches moved inbetween it created quite a light show in our room. "The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here.
