"Overall the hotel was nice with a comfortable room and’s beds and great shower! We could have used a mini fridge but there were none. The lack of AC was a challenge as we stated in July and the temp was quite hotel at night, even with the windows open. No fans available either. The staff was very nice and kindly let is check out later which was really helpful."

"Stayed here for two nights. Friendly staff on arrival - dispensing ice lollies on a very hot afternoon. Room ok but very hot - only two of the windows opened and even then not very far. Fan simply stirred hot air around. Plenty of water provided and tea-making replenished on request. Decent biscuits too. Big disadvantage is that the restaurant for breakfast and evening meals is in separate building 100 yards away up a hill. Need umbrella if it is raining. Had one dinner in there - food...

"The rooms are very well maintained and clean, the food was outstanding as are the staff."

"Stayed here many times but disappointed the room (carpet) didn't look clean, bathroom, this is only room with a bath and this will be the third time I've had this room and the bath taps don't work you can only use the shower. Previously I've had water in the room but not this time. Didn't look like the tea, coffee, etc. had been topped up"

"There is a photo of a Jacuzzi bath on the garden rooms. I thought I would pay extra for a jacuzzi bath but I was told that was only in the bridal suite, I was very disappointed and felt this was blatantly misleading so it’s worth considering that, they should change the picture really! "Room 23 Noisy extractor fan. Should use spoons for tea instead of wood sticks. Should fix wallpaper falling down in room. But very clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff opening the bar for some drinks. Also upgraded me to a better room which was very generous."
