"Our stay at the Clayton was a very brief overnighter before an early flight. It served our needs very well. The room was spacious, the bathroom excellent, though we would have liked some conditioner. My only other quibble was that we ended up at the wrong Clayton Hotel as there are 2 - one just outside the Dublin Airport and one inside the area. Otherwise, very happy."

"It's a room for a night to facilitate airport travel, and nothing more. My room was dirty. The shower needs a new curtain that doesn't allow water to just seep through. I booked a shuttle to the airport, and it never came, so I quickly booked the next one. This made me late getting to the airport, and I had to sprint to make my flight, which I just barely made."

"This is perfect if you are looking for a place to stay near the airport. The host was kind and friendly. We didn’t meet the other guests but were conscious of people moving about in the night - as I’m sure they were when we got in late and left early! This is always going to be the case with a place near the airport. I particularly appreciated the free coffee to get us off to a good start in the morning."

The earliest bus from the hotel to the airport is at 5pm, so that leaves very narrow window for bag dropin, security check, etc. if people have early flights. When one guest was late for the bus, we all had to wait for this one person. "We had a fabulous stay at The Grand. The hotel was clean and well maintained despite its size. Our double room was on the small side but comfortable, with a beautiful view of the water and contained everything we needed for our stay. Staff were pleasant, very helpful, and check in was a breeze. The location of the hotel was perfect, opposite the water, few minute walk to the marina, village, train station and castle. "very loud. need better access to all stairwells. half the parking blocked off. the resturant had great food but the service was horrible. they sit people with kids in the parlour separate area and then the get forgotten."

"Appears clean. Feels a little under serviced even for a Travelodge. No amenities to speak of, no hair dryer in room. Bare minimum and small, thin towels. Cigarette smoke smell seems to come through the bathroom vent. Toilet barely flushes. I wouldn't stay again but Swords is a neat town. Price was way too high for what is offered, even for a tourist season Saturday night. Lesson learned."
