"Lovely classic hotel, easy to get to (a couple of miles from the A64.) Handy for York Outlet and just a short work into the centre of the city. On bus route if you don't fancy walking. Classic style rooms in a traditional building. We've stopped there several times and never had a problem. Parking is available on site for £15 per night which is quite reasonable for York. Staff very helpful. If there is one thing that might be an issue for some people if the lack of a lift, so if you have difficulty on stairs you'd need to ask for a ground floor room.
