"Situated in a picture postcard little village, everything about the hotel was top notch, the decor throughout and our room was tasteful and modern, everything was spotless and clean. The food was excellent, I had the fish platter which I would highly recommend. Staff were attentive and polite, it's a five stars from me"

"Staff were “above & Beyond”!
The bar, rooms and food for was excellent the team really looked after us!
The rooms were clean & quirky & really spacious and the bathroom was superb
We were blessed with the weather and York & Yorkshire are full of friendly people "
