"This is a gem of a place for visiting the York Barbican, free car parking, a nice lovely room, absolutely lovely welcome and a warm atmosphere from the staff, breakfast is amazing, honestly I will stay here again and i would recommend.
We had an evening meal here also, and it was excellent, proper Home Cooking, excellent thank you to the staff, if you read this...thank you"

"Exceptionally clean and comfy room, fresh bedding and towels available.
Perfect location on the river, by the train station with just a 5 minute walk to the city centre.
We stayed in room 1 and had a lovely view of the river on the morning, hotel was quiet, warm and comfortable.
Martyn assisted with great communication telling us everything we needed to know prior to getting to the guest house, check in and check out was simple and easy.

Breakfast was delicious with good choice. Staff friendly and helpful.
Lots of parking and great location for the city centre and the outlet.

"Room was lovely and comfy. Very clean wth en-suite, shower with amenities, towels body/shower gel, conditioner, hand cream and soap. Comfy double bed, the room had a coffee machine, kettle, fan and hairdryer. 32 inch TV suitable for room size. Complimentary breakfast more of a continental style but not fully. Teas, coffees, cereals, fruit, small selection of juices and toaster and microwave. Host was on hand to make hot drinks and toast, very hospitable and friendly. Guest are welcome to help...
