Reception/breakfast staff were v courteous. The hotel is dates. The toilet sink qas clogged and no one cleaned our room. Unfortunately we were out all day hence only realised late when arriving in the room after 9pm

the room was really clean and the hotel was quiet, breakfast was good and lots of choice, however didnt think much of the menu choice for meals. I had a lamb shank but only got small piece of potato mash no veg which is unusual when you order and also not always keen on curries so better choice would be nice

Room was great , staff very friendly and helpful bar was a little pricey Also didn't notice where I could have a evening meal , and ended up with a parking ticket which having needed to write my registration down for my stay I thinking the hotels had a parking deal for patrons

Great place and spot

This was a nice place, comfy bed, good shower and towels ( full size ) not the half size some places have. Breakfast was good, walking distance to so many sites and food and drink. We would definitely stay here again

Booked this last minute to attend a job interview the next day as it allowed for late check in on a Sunday night as using public transport. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Great local area knowledge. Very clean room-people above me the first night were noisy but I could sleep. Amazing bathroom-loved the shower. So close to the centre of York so I could come back post interview and explore very easily into the city to see the Minstry and visit the Shambles. Would come back again

Had a very enjoyable atay. Staff were really helpful and friendly and were quick to help when we had an issue with a room. Rooms were clean and decent selection of food for breakfast. Would recommend.
