Judges Court is in a great location—an easy walk from the station and right in the City Centre. However, the hotel itself is small and lacks basic facilities. There was no radio or iPod docking station, and the homemade biscuits advertised on their website were missing—not a dealbreaker, but still disappointing.
The room needed some attention: peeling paint, signs of damp on the walls, and an uncomfortably hot temperature. While fans were provided, they were noisy and ineffective.
Housekeeping was also inconsistent. On our second day, the floor towel was neatly folded, but the bed was left unmade. Coffee pods were replaced, yet the cups looked like they had only been rinsed and were still dirty.
Overall, this did not feel like a 4-star experience. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
