"It's a shame that there are some downsides to the cottage, otherwise it would be the ideal place to stay. It has a reasonable kitchen, a lounge area big enough for two, a nice bathroom and shower, convenient parking right outside for one car and a very effective towel rail, although to make it work, the entire heating system had to be on, and with no thermostat in the bedroom (during my stay), it soon became far too hot. Unfortunately, there are quite a few shortcomings; there was no shaver...

"The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening."

"Upon arrival we have been upgraded (for free) to a luxury room. The room itself was very nicely decorated and it had that luxury, boutique feel. Room was very clean. All towels, glasses, cutlery in the room as well as bedding was very clean. The hotel itself has a unique style, very well thought through with stylish design and decorations. "Staff were outstanding, so polite and helpful. We had the early bird evening meal, which was beautiful and very reasonable in price. We stayed in a woodland escape cabin with a hot tub. It was clean and well dressed. Hot tub was preheated with fresh water. Will 100% be staying again."

"Great location, easy self check in. The whole place was clean and in good condition. Simple self service breakfast with good coffee. If there was one word of warning... if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Someone in the next room was an impressive snorer and I didn't have any!"

"Great base for walking the Llanberis path up Snowden. The hosts were extremely welcoming, warm, and knowledgable about the local area. A selection of teas and coffee are available in the lounge area which felt much needed after the climb! Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend :)"

"The room was terrible with a smashed bathroom basin, so I asked for another room. The 2nd room had a smelly damp, mouldy bathroom. There were no common areas. The bar/restaurant areas were kept closed/locked. Reception staff were not at the hotel full time. Only sporadically during the day."
