"I only speak English and French but was traveling with a Japanese friend. The hotel guests were 95% Japanese which shows how good of a reputation it has. Very nice hotel but may be difficult if you are not traveling with someone who speaks Japanese"

"Purchase the dinner and breakfast—excellent buffets and beautiful dining room. Hotel has extraordinary ocean view. No need to leave the property as it has 3 onsens, restaurants, and activities."
"
SOKI Atami is a beautiful and tranquil retreat. I thoroughly enjoyed the private onsen on my outdoor terrace, with its serene view overlooking the sea. The amenities are first-class, and the service is beyond reproach.
As a design professional with a deep appreciation for Japanese aesthetics, I found joy in every detail—from the architecture to the textures and tones. Every element felt intentional and quietly luxurious.
My only suggestion would be to offer more variety in the dining options. The dinner menu, while exquisite and beautifully prepared, is a fixed multi-course meal. It’s undeniably delicious but might be too expensive for guests to enjoy every night of their stay.
The Japanese-style breakfast is also excellent—nutritious and thoughtfully presented. That said, as a guest from the U.S., I would appreciate the option of a lighter, Western-style breakfast. I understand this may not fully align with the hotel's concept, but I wanted to share this perspective as a matter of comfort and inclusivity.
Overall, I would come back in a heartbeat!"
"Breakfast for Foreign guest want more choice.
Like omelette , toast, good quality bread. Fresh orange juice( surrounded oranges, tangerine in this region)
