This hotel is very clean and modern. It is located at the heart of the East side of the city, very convenient. The new lounge was comfortable and sleek. We love the welcoming and non-frail approach of this hotel. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Taipei!"

"This location was decent enough in terms of proximity to subway, 8-10 minute walk from the Red or Blue line. There isn't a lobby for check in rather a small desk off to the side on the 5th floor's lounge. This which makes the hotel feel less like a hotel but a hostel. Staff were nice and amenities were good. There is a Texas BBQ and coffee shop downstairs, and happy hour at the lounge -which we didn't get a chance to use but it's there. Overall a decent stay but would probably choose a different hotel next time."

"If you are going to Taipei Dome or Arena I definitely recommend this hotel! A grand and magnificent building, even though it's a little aged but still gives you a lot comfy. I arrived very early after a long-haul intercontinental flight on a morning and they generously provided me a room to for early check-in and I had a very enjoyable and slow-paced morning. Thank you very much ILLUME Taipei! If I am going to Taipei next time, I will choose you again! "
