"Good place to stay with a comfortable bed. Everything in the room worked well, and all the essentials were stocked up. They were very responsive on WhatsApp whenever I had a question, did not hear noises from outside, making it a pleasant stay. The only downside was that the room was fairly hot. "As a retired flight attendant I'm used to small hotel rooms (Japan, Paris, etc) so that wasn't a big surprise to me. There is ample storage space for two people, even in the bathroom, which was a nice surprise. I loved the rain shower! There is ample room in the fridge, but the ice storage space was coated with thick ice, barely room for one little ice tray. On a down note, we couldn't control the thermostat in the room. It stayed at 24.5 C (76 F) for our entire stay, which is uncomfortable for guest from Texas. I couldn't find a phone number posted to help us. After the sun went down, we opened the windows to cool the room off so we could sleep. It is a short walk to Zürich train/bus stations with plenty of dining spots in the neighborhood. There is a lovely Italian restaurant, Milano's, across the street, so after a long travel day to get there, that was a pleasant relief. There is also a well stocked Coop grocery right next door. There is also a convenient coffee/snack off the lobby. Recommend bringing the ceramic cups from the room to hold the paper coffee cups as they are extremely hot to hold by hand. On the lower level (-1) there is a gym and a "WeWash" laundry room. You need to download the WeWash app to use. I loved this! It even provides the soap so you do't have to pack any! You can stay in your room and the app tells you when your load it finished. I will definitely return to City Pop!"

"The room was clean and sufficient in size. It was basically a very small apartment. We found that there is no one at the desk to answer questions as the person that was there "didn't work there" so we would have to contact the owner on WhatsApp. We just dealt with the issue (more of my husband's lack of digital experience) and were fine. However, we got there at 3:05pm and there was no one to give any explanation of how anything in the place worked, which was very frustrating for us older folks that haven't dealt with an all digital space before. They were very quick to drop off toilet paper when we asked the girl at the desk, and the gentleman that came up was nice enough to show me how to run the TV, on the 4th day we were there. This would have been a 5 if we had had someone to give some instruction or at least a call to make sure we got checked in okay or needed help. It's very odd to only have someone available until 3pm when there are people checking in after that."
