"The resort was beautiful, quiet and clean, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. You will see monkeys and sloths. The staff will point them out to you as well. Most of the community does speak English and do take dollars without difficulty. The restaurants on the resort are pricey, we tried Agua Azul close by and it was delicious and reasonable, Emil’s Cafe was also great but also a little more pricey. Taking a taxi to the local restaurants in Manuel Antonio is about $10 each...

"Das Hotel hat eine sehr ruhige Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. Dort waren wir fast allein. Der Strand ist ein paar Kilometer lang, gut für lange Spaziergänge am Wasser. Das Hotelpersonal war superfreundlich. Im Restaurant konnte man sehr gut essen. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist, dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind."

"Very quant small boutique accommodation in a secluded area of Quopes about 30 minute drive away. Right on a beautiful beach which black sand. More of a location for decompresion than chocked full of activities. Miles of beach to walk on, especially good at low tide where a 100 yards of the beach is exposed. Owner is fabulous, help me set up day trips. Have to drive down a dirt road 3 miles to get to the resort. Again, isolated area."
