"We loved everything about it, not a modern hotel but had lots of character.
Staff were lovely and restaurant food is excellent.
Breakfast was also excellent!
Would definitely go again."

"We were given an upgraded room which meant king size bed but narrow window with frosted glass!
Missing items were
Shampoo
Hairdryer
No shelf in bathroom to put stuff
An ironing board provided but no iron!
At least there was a kettle with coffee and tea
Breakfast was average but limited number of fried eggs, probably 12, which were all gone as everyone was there at 8 on Sunday so none for us!!

"Ideal location and reasonable rooms which were a bit tired. Biggest problem was the lift wasn’t working and had to climb six flights of stairs."

"All the staff were extremely helpful, the hotel was beautifully decorated and furnished and the rooms were lovely.
Only a five minute walk into town and some lovely restaurants and bars. Throughly recommend whether you want to relax in Keswick or walk the surrounding hills.
The boat trip was lovely and very reasonable, gave access to some pretty spots including the walk Cat Bells."
