"First impressions in walking into the hotel were superb, modern, bright & clean with really helpful & pleasant staff.
The bar & food were also really good, excellent food & service with drinks very reasonably priced.
However the room was very dated & not that clean, certainly needs a refresh, & this was a canal side balcony room on the fifth floor with a jacuzzi bath. The balcony itself was dirty, with loose flags & large cobwebs not somewhere that nice to sit out on & this was middle of...

"Great location. Stayed in room 1, bed was extremely comfortable, great powerful shower. Room was spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Well stocked bar.

"Modern standard room with comfortable bed and in a great location. 5 mins walk from the city centre. Staff very pleasant with a decent breakfast choice and quality.

"Breakfast was ok, staff really good friendly and helpful but the property leaves a lot to be desired. Very dated and in real need of modernisation.
We booked a room with a 4 poster bed then on arrival were told we had a free upgrade to a 4 poster room.... Strange seeing as that's what we requested anyway.
Room was at best ok. The bed was pretty wobbly.
Ceiling in the room was a false ceiling of tiles like you would find in an office and there have clearly been several leaks coming through from...
