"The ac in our room was not getting cold, I called the front desk to let them know and to see if it’ll be possible to switch rooms. Well I never received a call back. The room smelled like an old refrigerator that was not working properly mixed with humidity. It was not a good combination. Also the sofa had some sort of food crumbs on it. Overall it was not a pleasant stay for my husband and I."

"We enjoyed our two-night stay at this family-focused hotel. We booked last minute and got a first floor patio room with ocean view. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, but next time we would book a higher floor. There will be a next time! Carlsbad is only a hour away from where we live, so it was good for a quick getaway from the heat. It is just steps from a nice restaurant that's been there for 50 years and a quick walk across the highway to sit on the beach (loved watching the surfers). Lots of...
