"This hotel is like a Super 8 in USA. Cheap furniture etc. Receptionist was missing when we showed up. There was a machine that claimed to check people in so we started putting in our information etc and it just won’t do anything. Finally, the receptionist showed up and claimed that machine didn’t work. He checked us in. We paid almost $350 a night for the room, and felt it was too expensive for what we got."

"Now marketed as the Drum Hotel, Expedia should do the same and not use Drumnadrochit Hotel! The room was small for a twin room and very basic for storing clothes etc. Overall the staff were helpful on reception when asked anything about visitor attractions. We only ate one breakfast in the cafe. Would have preferred a proper breakfast room with more obvious element of being served. The cafe had no yoghurt so one breakfast was unavailable and as it was Bank Holiday the reason we didn’t eat again...

"The hotel is set in a nice location. Unfortunately our first floor room, as did many others, looked onto an internal roof area which was shabby and dirty. General decor was tired and dated. Food was ok. Could not fault the staff who were friendly and helpful. Room prices did not justify state of the hotel."

"This was a fantastic place to stay in Inverness! The staff were beyond friendly and helpful! Every interaction was sincere and made us feel welcomed. The room was very clean and spacious. We did not stay on the property for breakfast but the staff were happy to recommend a local bakery just down the street. Additionally the property is very close to the city center and was only a short walk away from many of the pubs!"

"Having a restaurant and bar on site was very helpful when getting in late. Staff was very helpful and fun (Jonathan and Isley). Good selection of whiskey and our room was very fancy. "The hotel itself was good for the money. Jason was super friendly but due to the accident in room 19 was the only staff member available which led to the theft of toilet roll. Trash was never taken out. TV did not work. Had to hunt down towels. No restaurant on premises although there are many signs that say there is. Highly recommend."
