"I wasn’t expecting much as this seemed like a “convention center” hotel. My great experience started when I needed to get some room adjustments made. The individual at the desk I talked to was amazing. Courteous and helpful and thoughtful about the adjustments. The hotel was spotless. Just a great experience and great staff!"

"I stayed at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn and honestly had a terrible experience. Around 3 AM there was loud music coming from the room next door, and even after calling the front desk, the noise didn’t fully stop. The walls are so thin you can clearly hear people talking.
The room also smelled like weed, likely coming from the neighboring room, which made it very uncomfortable. On top of that, the bathroom door made a loud squeaking noise every time it was opened or closed.
I barely got any...

"I appreciate the staff friendliness and allowing us to use breakfast area for a brief family gathering in the evening.
However, please reserve rooms for families with kids on the first floor or another area. Both nights kids were running the hall, screaming, riding the luggage cart while their parents were either in the room or another part of the building. That noise all night up until checkout was very annoying and distracting to say the least. I’m just putting it mildly. I’ve stayed at this...

"Cat friendly was a big plus
Hotel and room were clean. They seem to be doing renovations so some things were not ideal. Bathroom was quite small. There was no ice machine on 2nd floor. Breakfast was good, both hot and cold items. Staff was efficient but not overly friendly. Towels and linens were clean, fluffy and really good shape. Bed was comfy. I would stay there again."
