"If you get it for the right price, it can be great value for money.
I do believe it’s going to be converted to apartments so, the bar is not well stocked and nothings been refurbished for a long time! Breakfast was decent and we found the room comfortable. It’s also in a great location."

"Only 4 stars for the lift still being out several days after notification (before my arrival) of its not working.
I may be harsh considering it was a bank holiday weekend.
Staff made bringing heavy bag upstairs possible by carrying it thank you.
Some hall carpets might be tended to."

"Very basic small room. It was very hot and the a/c did not appear to be working. Also you could hear voices from adjoining room. £7 to park overnight. Outrageous car parking should be free."

"What a superb gem of a hotel. Location is ideal for travelling with plenty of car parking. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was extremely good with a wide selection of continental and superbly cooked and varied hot options. Ate dinner in the restaurant and the meal was lovely. Originally booked one night travelling south and then decided to stay again a few nights later when travelling back. Will definitely be back."
