"Lovely warm welcome on arrival. All staff extremely smiley and helpful. Lovely big room with coffee maker, hairdryer, desk fan. Milk, biscuits, caramel wafers and tunnocks tea cakes to help yourself to on each floor in the corridors. Breakfast was served by lovely young members of staff, nothing was too much trouble. Ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was lovely. All in all a very pleasurable stay and we will definitely return"

"Within walking distance to Chatsworth House. Well priced dining and breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. No disabled access. A small in room fridge would have been nice. We plan to revisit the area and would happily book here again."

"Very friendly welcome and a lovely room. The staff were so helpful and the cooked breakfasts were excellent. But the DJ night didn't finish at 11 as the in-room message said it would (midnight, then bar noise for another while) ; the fire alarm went off the next night (quickly cancelled so clearly accidentally) but then you could hear furniture being moved around in the bar/cafe in the small hours... I guess for cleaning. I'd recommend taking earplugs. "

"It was very enjoyable. Lovely hotel, staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Room was extremely well appointed with everything we needed, and a very clean and nice en suite. Food was delicious at dinner and breakfast with a good selection. Very nice location with great views of the roaches and lovely well kept gardens with plenty of outdoor comfy seating. "

"Central, ideal for the visit. Welcoming, friendly helpful reception colleagues. Room was great, telly not so much, very limited on the TV channels, not so bad if your off out, but if you’re on your own and spend time in the room Overall excellent, and would stay again. "
