"The room was clean and tidy however the shower extractor wasn’t working also a none slip bath mat would be good and the heating could have been better and a small fridge would be good,,, the food in the restaurant was really good and friendly staff,,, all that said we would stay there again,, 4 out of 5 stars "

"Excellent location. Close to city, Tigers ground and theatre. Professional welcome on reception. The room was comfortable and spacious. Heating instructions were useful. Bathroom was very spacious with lovely shower and toiletries. Bar area was welcoming. Breakfast was a lovely buffet with extra cooked options. All staff were friendly. A great rugby stay at a value for money rate. We will definitely return next season. "

"Excellent stay as always apart from one small thing. I have been staying here each time I come to Leicester and I have also been recommending my friends therefore you have good business on recommendation. However when I called up to request some coffee and some of your lovely cookies I was told by an older gentleman to come down and get it as he cannot leave the reception. I refused to come down and then he said he will bring it up and he did'nt. Little let down from my experience. Would I come...

"The hotel is moden and well laid out with everything you need for a stay. The rooms are large, clean and well looked after. But the biggest standout were the staff, everyone is so friendly and fo out of their way to help. Tip top service from all of them well done"

"The only real disappointment was our dinner. The food was tasty but it wasn’t as described on the menu-my seasonal veg was two spring onions, my tarragon jus was gravy and our children’s fish bites were just cheap fish fingers!! We were 2.5hours for two courses….it was very slow. The hotel room was clean and the nature trail outside was lovely. The outside grounds were perfect for a stroll before dinner. All the staff were welcoming. "
