"Amazing staff that would do anything to help and an unbeatable location. Rooms were incredible (and always somehow smelt terrific) and breakfast was not perfect but a good effort. Didn't give a perfect score because the WiFi was very hit and miss (more miss than hit), rooms sometimes got incredibly cold and were a bit odd. "I would've given this hotel an excellent rating were it not for the terrible wifi connection. It's brand new right beside Shanhu Lake (north side). Be sure to show the Chinese address and name of the hotel. Very few taxi drivers know where it is since it's brand new. The hotel's telephone number in expedia is incorrect! I've attached a screenshot of the hotel's Chinese name and address below. Even with this information, our taxi driver had trouble finding it. Oddly it doesn't show up in a google...

"The hotel is located at the center of the city by the scenic Banyan Lake. Easily accessible to public transportations and restaurants. Although the facilities of the hotel is generally approvable as a 3 star hotel, its management proves to be poor. 1) timely maintenance is obviously lacking as stains and dirts were seen in the bathtub; 2) shower curtain is too long and its lower part is molded -- it should have been replaced long ago; 3) Though there are signs of 'non-smoking ' in the lobby and...

"We were here as a quick stop on our way to Chengdu. The area around the hotel made for some nice local exploring, and the hotel had a nice pool for some lap swimming (20m). We weren't there long enough to take advantage of the breakfast, but the wifi seemed to work well enough for anyone who might be here on a work trip."
